Frank's profile photoFrank Lanza is a Barrister-at-Law and Registered Migration Agent, and also the founder of Frank Lanza Migration Services. He is also an Accredited Mediator in all Federal and State jurisdictions.

Born and educated in Italy, Frank, fresh out of college as a graduate in Nuclear Engineering, migrated to Australia in 1969, at a time when permanent visas were granted on payment of $20 fees and it took only two weeks to process them.

After four years of residence, Frank became an Australian citizen. He worked a total of 17 years in mining exploration travelling to many countries throughout the world. He speaks several languages, including English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.

In the early 1980's, Frank settled in the Cairns area and after graduating in Law at Queensland University of Technology, began his career as a barrister. Since that time, he has become a very active member of the community, and is associated with a number of charities and municipal and regional committees. He is also a leader in the pro bono legal tradition, regularly donating his legal services to disadvantaged persons and local community groups.

Frank's experience, as a barrister, gave him an appreciation of how complex and dynamic Australian Immigration Law can be. He came to realise that it is important for migration agents to have a solid legal background in order to deal with changing legislation and regulations, if they are to advocate effectively for their clients. Frank, therefore, decided to establish a migration agency that offers both comprehensive legal expertise and the professional ethics and reputation for fair dealing that he has developed throughout his legal career.

In 1998, Frank Lanza Migration Services was launched. It quickly became known as the 'gold standard' for client service, value, and expert advice among migration agencies in the region. He is proud of himself in being able to successfully assist clients who were told that it was impossible to obtain visas.

In November 2010, Frank was accredited by the Queensland Law Society as an Immigration Law Specialist

Frank is passionate about the Tropical North Queensland region, and loves to introduce visitors to its many natural wonders. In his free time, Frank is an accomplished Italian and Japanese chef, and he also enjoys salsa dancing and SCUBA diving.
