Prime Expression of Interest (EOI) and Visa Service (Skilled visa subclasses 189, 190 and 489)

Frank Lanza Migration Services will undertake the following responsibilities in providing you with the Prime EOI and Visa Service:


Stage 1: Initial Assessment

The assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Make an Initial Assessment of your personal circumstances to determine the most appropriate visa you may be able to lodge an EOI for
  • Examine and assess the information and documentation provided


Stage 2: Detailed Assessment and Document Check

The assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Collect all necessary information and documentation relating to the application
  • Examine and assess all the information provided
  • Inform you if they believe that the documentation provided is sufficient, and the likelihood of being able to lodge a successful EOI to DIAC, based on the information provided
  • Advise you of any factors that may increase the prospects of a successful EOI


Stage 2a: Skills Assessment (and State Sponsorship - if required)

Before you can submit a valid EOI, you need to pass a Skills Assessment conducted by the assessing body for your occupation.


Skills Assessment

The assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Help prepare your Skills Assessment application using the documentation and information provided by you
  • Submit your Skills Assessment application to the relevant skills assessment authority
  • Monitor the progress of the application
  • Inform you of the outcome of your Skills Assessment, and advise you of the next step in the process

Please note this step is complete when the initial Skills Assessment has been lodged with the appropriate assessing body.


State Sponsorship

The assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Help prepare your state sponsorship application using the documentation and information provided by you
  • Submit your state sponsorship application to the relevant state authority
  • Monitor the progress of the application
  • Inform you of the outcome of your state sponsorship, and advise you of the next step in the process

Important Note: as the requirements differ from state to state, lodgement of your state sponsorship application may occur either before or after your EOI is lodged.
 

Stage 3: Application Preparation and Submission

The assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Review all the material provided by you
  • Prepare the EOI and associated documentation
  • Lodge the EOI with DIAC


Stage 4: Application Processing and the Decision

The assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Closely monitor your EOI for two (2) years from the date of lodgement and advise you if DIAC have requested you to lodge a visa application
  • Keep you informed of any communication from DIAC that concerns the progress of the EOI, and if any further requests for information or documentation are made by DIAC
  • Update your details to reflect any additional qualifications or experience you may have obtained. This may increase your ability to be selected to lodge a visa application.
  • Inform you of the result of the EOI


If you are required by DIAC to lodge a visa application, the assigned Migration Agent will:

  • Review all the material provided by you
  • Prepare the visa application and associated documentation
  • Lodge the visa application with DIAC
  • Closely monitor your visa application until a decision on the case is made by DIAC
  • Keep you informed of any communication from DIAC that concerns the progress of the application, and if any further requests for information or documentation are made by DIAC
  • Inform you of the result of the visa application


Please note this step is complete when:

  • The two-year EOI period is complete and DIAC have not requested you to lodge a visa application; or
  • You were requested by DIAC to lodge a visa application and DIAC have provided a result of the visa application.
